Workshop FAQ

What makes this workshop unique? Our expeditions are shaped by Tran Tuan Viet, merging his professional expertise as a National Geographic contributor with exclusive access to Vietnam’s most stunning locales. Since 2009, we have focused on high-end, intimate experiences that prioritize photography over standard sightseeing.

What camera gear is recommended? We suggest a versatile kit: Wide-angle (16–35mm) for landscapes, Medium zoom (24–70mm) for street life, and a Telephoto (70–200mm or 100–500mm) for portraits and compressed landscapes. A drone and tripod are highly recommended for the coastal and tea hill sessions.

Is drone photography permitted? Yes. We handle all necessary government permits for the workshop. Simply submit your drone’s serial number after booking (ideally 3 months prior) and we will manage the authorization.

How strenuous is the schedule? Our workshops are designed for comfort and accessibility. We avoid heavy trekking, making this suitable for all ages (50s to 80s). We use luxury transport and choose routes that maximize shooting time while minimizing physical exertion.

Are post-processing sessions included? Yes. Optional workshops focusing on professional editing in Lightroom and Photoshop are available. These sessions help you refine the “Summer Glow” in your images and prepare them for gallery-level output.

What about dietary restrictions? We cater to all dietary needs, including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free. Please inform us of your requirements during the booking process.
